Vision Australia Easter Egg Hunt

Join the exciting search for 100,000 Easter eggs in Rosalind Park on Good Friday

The chocolate eggs will be hidden in straw at the beautiful Rosalind Park for more than 4,500 children to find. Easter egg hunts are organised for separate age groups over various time slots throughout each day - see below table.

Come and say hello to Vision Australia’s Seeing Eye Dogs who will be part of the Easter action too!

Tickets

Tickets will be available for purchase prior to the event, with ticket sales commencing from 9am Friday February 20, 2026.

BUY TICKETS

Tickets will be available to purchase via the Bendigo Visitor Centre by visiting the website or calling 1800 813 153. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the Bendigo Visitor Centre, 51-67 Pall Mall, Bendigo.

Limited tickets may be available on the day, subject to availability.

All proceeds go towards supporting the local services Vision Australia provides to people who are blind or have low vision living in the Bendigo region.

Two accessible hunts will take place for children who need a little extra support:

Accessible Sensory hunt This sensory-friendly Easter Egg Hunt includes tactile and audio cues, smaller group numbers, and a calm, welcoming environment. These sessions are created especially for children who benefit from sensory adjustments. Thank you for choosing a general session if you don’t require these supports – your consideration helps keep these sessions available for families who do. Easter Eggs are hidden in wood wool for children of all abilities to find.

Accessible Mobility hunt This accessible Easter Egg Hunt includes reachable egg placement, smooth pathways, and additional space to move, explore, or use mobility aids comfortably. These sessions are designed for children who benefit from mobility or physical access adjustments. Thank you for choosing a general session if you don’t require these supports – your consideration helps keep these sessions available for families who do. Easter Eggs are hidden in wood wool for children of all abilities to find.
